After our clients occupy their new facility, Stegenga + PARTNERS will perform a Post Occupancy Evaluation. The purpose of this review is to determine how well the spaces are living up to anticipated design goals, determined during the Pre-Design Phase. This also includes managing the contractors' warranty obligations.
During the design process, emphasis is placed upon the understanding of materials and their replacement cost. These costs are carefully analyzed and discussed with the client.
Maintenance and Operation Programming:
Stegenga + PARTNERS develops a project manual to review decisions made on equipment specified during the design process. This manual demonstrates the method(s) for accomplishing specific tasks with the equipment (i.e. how to notify the nurse of a patient’s arrival). Often times, these manuals will be helpful when training new employees.
