- Proactively involved during the construction-phase activities to mitigate problematic issues, including incomplete or defective work
- On-site observations to ensure that construction work complies with the expectations of the Owner, and will be in accordance with the contract documents
- Review and certify the amounts due the Contractor and issue the Certificates for Payment
- Keep the Owner informed about the progress and schedule of the work, and endeavor to guard the Owner against delay
- Coordinate special inspection requirements and Owner’s material testing, to ensure the quality of the construction
